    Minecraft version 1.2 is confirmed to be released tomorrow, March 1st. This DOES NOT mean that the server is updating any time soon, so it is recommended that you make a backup .jar of your minecraft 1.1, or do not update at all. Be very cautious, because Minecraft .jars are hard to find (and actually illegal to post) for older versions, so think before you update.

    The news was correct as we now greet 1.2.2 into the minecraft family , time to backdate ;D
